Volunteer Opportunities Available
Support Group Childcare
If you enjoy spending time with children, we could use your help during our Lincoln and Omaha support groups. As parents meet with one another, we need volunteers to provide childcare and administer various activities. Children who attend vary greatly in age and level of need.
Beyond childcare, if you would be interested in planning activities for the children and young people during support group, that would also be welcome.
Dinner is provided for volunteers.
Two times a year, Right Turn hosts parties for families. We believe that adoptive families should be celebrated and these events help families connect to other adoptive families. Summer picnics and holiday parties are planned in various communities across the state. We would appreciate your help in ensuring these events are engaging and fun.
Do you have some extra time? There are numerous tasks that are necessary to provide quality services to families and to ensure that all families and professionals are aware of our programs and services across the state. We would appreciate your help putting outreach materials together, training binders, welcome packets and the like.
